After their first Regional Championship since 2013 and a solid run at the 2025 NCCAA Baseball World Series, the Patriots' season has come to an end in Kansas City.
After defeating Southwester Christian University 10-9 in 10 innings, and Kansas Christian College 6-2, the Patriots faced #3 seed University of Fort Lauderdale. The game was scoreless up until the 5th inning. In the 4th, Fort Lauderdale would find three hits, but
Carter Fagan brought some great defense gunning down the Eagle runner at the plate from center field to keep the game scoreless. After UFL took a 5-0 lead, the Patriots got two runs back in the bottom of the 5th on RBI singles from
Major Cantrell and
Nathan Duvall to cut the deficit to three. The Patriots would give a run back after a pitching change in the top of the sixth with their third error of the game to make it 6-2 in favor of Fort Lauderdale, and this would end up being the final score of the game.Â
The Patriots concluded their season with a 38-16 overall record, and a 2-2 record at the World Series. We are immensely proud of this team for their hard work and dedication and we congratulate them on a successful season.
