Arlington Baptist University Baseball repeated as champions of the NCCAA Division II National Invitational, hosting the second annual tournament and sweeping through the field for the second straight year.

The Patriots opened tournament play against No. 4 seed Randall University, securing an 8–2 victory to set the tone. Designated hitter Kevin Rios sparked the offense with two hits and three runs in three at-bats. Shortstop Nathan Duvall added two runs and two RBIs in three at-bats. On the mound, Corbyn Torti delivered seven strong innings with five strikeouts.

Friday proved to be a busy day for the Patriots. In their first matchup, they faced No. 3 seed Champion Christian College. Center fielder Joseph Galindo recorded two RBIs in three at-bats, while Keller Hensley pitched a complete game, striking out nine.

Later that day, Arlington Baptist squared off against No. 2 seed Trinity College of Jacksonville. Three Patriots—Kevin Rios, Jaxson Evans, and JJ Martinez—each tallied two RBIs. Ernest Escamilla and Cannon Harper both crossed the plate twice. The Patriots utilized three pitchers in the contest, with Tony Fuentes throwing four innings and striking out four.

The championship game brought a rematch with Champion Christian. The Patriots jumped out to an early 5–1 lead behind another dominant outing from Torti, who recorded seven strikeouts before being relieved. The Tigers attempted a late rally, cutting the deficit to 14–9 in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Arlington Baptist shut the door with three quick outs to complete their undefeated championship run.

The Patriots were well represented on the All-Tournament Team, with catcher JP Mendoza and pitcher/first baseman Keller Hensley earning honors, while Corbyn Torti was named Tournament MVP.

Arlington Baptist now turns its attention to its next matchup on February 26 at Goldstein Field against Huston–Tillotson University.
