The Lady Patriots extended their winning streak to three straight on Tuesday night, going on the road to Shreveport and defeating Centenary 68–60. Despite a slow start that saw Arlington Baptist trail 18–10 after the opening quarter, the Patriots quickly regrouped and controlled the rest of the game, winning each of the final three quarters to secure the victory.
Junior Paris Beard led the charge with a dominant double-double, posting 16 points and 15 rebounds to set the tone on both ends of the court. Senior guard Sa'Nya Green followed closely behind with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, making key plays throughout the night. Junior MyLeah Young added another all-around performance with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals, while Senior Laila Stewart contributed 11 points and 4 rebounds to round out the Patriots' balanced scoring attack.
Off the bench, Freshman guard Zoe Senganya continued her impressive early-season impact, scoring 8 of the team's 10 bench points and providing valuable energy in critical stretches.
The Lady Patriots now turn their attention to a pair of exhibition matchups, traveling to face Texas Southern on Thursday before heading to St. Edward's on Friday.
