The Lady Patriots capped off a stellar first semester of basketball by improving to 5–2 overall, earning their fourth consecutive victory on the road against Ecclesia College in Arkansas.
The Patriots set the tone early, dominating the first quarter with a 19–6 advantage and carrying that momentum into the second quarter by posting the same score once again. They showed no signs of slowing down after halftime, outscoring Ecclesia 24–7 in the third quarter to secure a commanding 73–42 final victory.
Several players delivered standout performances in the win. Sophomore guard Kaylee Bennett contributed 10 points and an impressive 6 steals, while junior guard Paris Beard continued her dominant stretch with 18 points and 6 steals. The performance marked Beard's sixth consecutive game scoring in double figures.
Off the bench, freshman guard Zoe Senganya provided an instant spark, recording 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals while shooting an efficient 60% from the field.
The Lady Patriots return to action on December 16 for an exhibition matchup on the road against UTPB. They will resume region play on January 10, when they take on CBS Houston.
