Jay Hollie, a Fort Worth, Texas native, is in her first year with Arlington Baptist University. Her basketball journey began at Trimble Tech High School, where she was a four-year starter and team captain. Throughout her high school career, she led her team to multiple playoff appearances, finishing with over 1,000 points and more than 500 rebounds. During her senior season, she was named MVP and led her district in several key statistical categories.
She went on to play two seasons of collegiate basketball at Southwestern University, where she was a consistent starter, before transferring to McMurry University. There, she helped guide her team to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Hollie earned her bachelor’s degree from McMurry University in Communication Studies, with a minor in Administration of Coaching.
In addition to her playing and academic accomplishments, she is a longtime staff member with Point Guard College — a premier basketball development organization that trains athletes from 4th grade through the collegiate level. Her passion for the game, leadership on and off the court, and commitment to developing young athletes continue to shape her impact within the basketball community.
