Abi Griffin is a dedicated alumna of Arlington Baptist University (ABU). During her time at ABU, she played on the university's women's basketball team, contributing to theirĀ back-to-back ACCAA and NCCAA National Championship victories in 2018 and 2019. Abi's passion for education led her to graduate in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.
Post-graduation, Abi embarked on her journey as an educator and coach at Ovilla Christian School in Red Oak, TX. There, she served as the head coach for middle school girls' basketball and volleyball, while also taking on the role of varsity assistant coach for both sports. During her time atĀ Ovilla Christian School the volleyball team made it to the final for in 2021 and won the TAPPS 2A State Championship in 2022.
In August 2023, Abi returned to ABU, this time in a coaching capacity. She is currently assisting in women's volleyball, supporting her former coach, and lending her knowledge to women's basketball, where she assists her former teammate. Additionally, Abi holds the position of Sports Information Director.
