ARLINGTON, TX - Arlington Baptist University junior libero Payton Koller played a key role in the Patriots' success this past week as ABU faced two challenging NAIA opponents.
The Joshua, Texas native was a force in the back row, recording 45 digs while averaging 5.63 digs per set across two four-set matches. Koller also excelled in serve receive, leading the Patriots with 36 receptions and averaging 4.50 receptions per set.
Her defensive efforts helped Arlington Baptist earn its second victory of the young season, a convincing 3-1 win over Jarvis Christian University. Koller's consistency and leadership on the court provided stability for the Patriots throughout the week as they finished with a 1-1 record against strong NAIA competition.
