ARLINGTON, TX- Arlington Baptist University Athletics is excited to announce its 1st Annual Golf Tournament, set for Thursday, August 6, at Lake Arlington Golf Course in Arlington, Texas. Organized under the leadership of Coach Larry Tidwell, Director of Athletics, the tournament will serve as a fundraiser to support ABU student-athletes while providing participants with a day of golf, fellowship, and friendly competition.
The tournament will begin with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start and is open to both individual golfers and teams. Registration is $100 per individual or $400 per team of four.
Businesses and supporters looking to make an impact can also participate through sponsorship opportunities. Hole sponsorships are available at multiple levels, ranging from $100 to $300, with sign placement at each sponsored hole. A premier Tournament Sponsorship is available for $5,000 and includes tournament signage as well as company name or logo placement on the official golf tournament T-shirt.
Participants will enjoy a complimentary lunch and have opportunities to compete for cash prizes, take part in on-course contests, and receive gifts and giveaways throughout the day. The event will also provide an opportunity for fellowship with ABU supporters and community members who share a passion for investing in the lives of student-athletes.
Funds raised through the tournament will help Arlington Baptist University Athletics continue providing opportunities for student-athletes to grow academically, athletically, and spiritually.
