ARLINGTON, TX - Arlington Baptist University senior middle blocker Ambrosia Pena made a strong impact for the Patriots this week, helping lead the team to a key victory over the University of Dallas while facing a challenging slate of NCAA Division III competition.
Stepping into an expanded role in the middle, Pena provided a strong presence at the net against both Howard Payne University and the University of Dallas. The senior recorded six total blocks on the week, including one solo block and five assisted blocks, helping anchor the Patriots' defense.
Pena also contributed offensively with nine kills and a .200 hitting percentage, giving Arlington Baptist valuable production on both sides of the ball. Her efforts played a significant role in the Patriots' victory over the University of Dallas as ABU finished the week with a 1-1 record.
