Men's Basketball wrapped up regional regular season play with an impressive 8–2 record, putting them in a strong position heading into the regional tournament at Southwestern Adventist University this week. The Patriots will begin tournament action Wednesday night as they pursue a berth at Nationals.
In their final week of regional competition, the Patriots went 2–1.
Monday night at home against Southwestern Adventist, Junior forward Gary Gray led all scorers with 23 points while adding nine rebounds. Senior guard Zion Bourgeois followed with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Four additional Patriots reached double figures: Senior Trey Walter (10), Junior Davion Allen (11), Sophomore Bryce Archie (11), and Senior Jamar McCray (10), showcasing the team's balanced offensive attack.
The Patriots then traveled to Arkansas on Wednesday to face Champion Christian College in a tightly contested matchup that ended in a narrow loss. Junior Marcel Dalcourt paced the team with 24 points and eight rebounds, while Davion Allen contributed 17 points.
Dalcourt responded in dominant fashion in Friday's road matchup against Randall University. He exploded for 40 points on 65% shooting, powering the Patriots to a 105–87 victory. Bourgeois added 21 points, and Allen chipped in 12 to secure the win.
With momentum on their side, the Patriots now turn their attention to the Southwest Regional Tournament, aiming to punch their ticket to Nationals.
