Blue Sox Drop NCCAA World Series Opener

Set to Play Southwestern Christian University on Monday, May 19th at 9:00AM

The Patriots lost their opening game of the 2025 NCCAA World Series to Mission University on Saturday by a score of 5-1. The Patriots had hits from Layne Wilkerson, Francisco Ochoa, JP Mendoza, and Carter Fagan. Corbyn Torti threw 5.2 innings, giving up three earned runs. The Patriots will play again on Monday, May 19th at 9:00 AM against Southwestern Christian University. The game was previously scheduled for 11:00 AM, but has been moved up due to impending storms in the Kansas City area.
