ARLINGTON, TX - The Arlington Baptist University Patriots men's basketball team delivered a powerful performance on Friday, January 31st, defeating the Champion Christian College Tigers with a commanding score of 94-78. The victory improves the Patriots' season record to 6-11.
The Patriots demonstrated exceptional shooting efficiency across multiple ranges. The team shot an impressive 47.6% (30-63) from the field, connected on 46.7% (7-15) of three-point attempts, and maintained a strong 73.5% (25-34) from the free-throw line.
Ahmad Webster emerged as the standout player of the night, leading the Patriots' offensive charge with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Webster's individual performance was particularly noteworthy, shooting 50% (7-14) from the field, an outstanding 80% (4-5) from three-point range, and 77.8% (7-9) from the free-throw line.
Eric Conner provided solid support, contributing 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Conner shot 50% (4-8) from the field and maintained an impressive 87.5% (7-8) success rate from the free-throw line.
Defensively, the Patriots demonstrated team-wide strength.
Ahmad Webster and
Gary Gray each secured 5 defensive rebounds, while
