The Arlington Baptist Patriots battled their way to a gritty 74–71 road victory over Centenary College. The win pushes the Patriots to 2–3 on the season, a record made even more impressive considering several early matchups have come against NCAA Division I opponents.

Jamar McCray delivered a standout performance, leading all scorers with 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals while shooting an efficient 70% from the floor. Gary Gray wasn't far behind, putting together a strong outing of his own with 20 points and 9 rebounds to help secure the win.

The Patriots will look to keep the momentum rolling as they return to action this Friday, traveling to East Central University for their next matchup.
