Arlington Baptist University

In his short time at Arlington Baptist University Coach Davis Beaver has led ABU softball to new heights and helped them excel on and off the field. Since he was hired in 2021, Patriot Softball has won two NCCAA Region Championships, as well as reached two NCCAA Softball World Series in 2022 and 2023.  

Coach Beaver has coached at the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II and NJCAA levels. Beaver is Driveline Hitting Certified, OnBase University Hitting Certified and is a Trosky Gold Glove as well as a Trosky Coaching Mastery member.  

Davis Beaver earned a Master of Human Relations from The University of Oklahoma and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Performance Psychology at Grand Canyon University.  

With his third season approaching, Coach Beaver has this to say about his team. “We have a number of impact transfers coming in that should make our team a little feistier than in years past.? I expect them to empty the tank and just let it flow and go, but at the same time, I need them to play free and confident. They need to know they’re good, and want to be great, but to keep in mind that it’s about the journey, not the pressure that we have to do anything.”
