ARLINGTON, TX - The ABU Softball teams are ready to hit the ground running as they kick off their seasons with back-to-back Opening Day excitement this weekend! Both squads will face NAIA opponent Graceland University, who is making the journey all the way from Lamoni, Iowa, to Fort Worth for these thrilling matchups.

Friday: Navy Team Doubleheader

The ABU Navy team takes the field first on Friday, with a doubleheader against the Yellowjackets starting at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. This marks the beginning of their quest for a potential NCSA World Series berth.

Saturday: Red Team Doubleheader

On Saturday, it's the Red team's turn as they set their sights on a third NCCAA College World Series appearance in four years. The doubleheader kicks off at 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

Coach Beaver shared the team's enthusiasm, saying, "We are super excited for Opening Day—it's like a holiday for softball. We like our teams; they play hard. We had a good training camp, so it will be great to see where we are at this point."

Game Details

All games will be played at the Clark Stadium Softball Triplex, located at 5519 CA Roberson Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76119. Admission is free, and there's plenty of bleacher seating available. Fans are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs for an up-close experience.
