Women’s NCCAA National Tournament for Sixth Straight Year

GREENVILLE, South Carolina- Arlington Baptist University Lady Patriots are participating in the NCCAA National Tournament for the sixth year in a row. ABU is the three time defending champions. After their win against Manhattan Christian College at Regionals, they earned the number one seed and the bye. The Patriots first match up is against the host school, Bob Jones University. BJU is the fifth seed and defeated Emmaus Bible College 75-64 in the first round. A win against the Lady Bruins would put Arlington in the championship game for the fifth straight year.

During their time here, the Lady Patriots also brought home more hardware. Kayla Beattie was a Scholar Athlete and Third Team All-American. Sophomore Carmen Williams was honored on the All-American First Team. Then, for the second straight year, Zayda Gonzalez was named the NCCAA National Player of the Year. Congratulations!
