The Arlington Baptist University men’s basketball team took on Southwest Region opponent, Randall University this past Friday night.
Randall came out swinging, hitting some early threes to open up the game. However, the Patriots soon caught fire on both ends of the court, forcing several turnovers on defense and converting that into points on the offensive end. They went into half time up by 13, and then continued their hot streak in the second half to eventually get the 22-point win, 102-80. This is the Patriots’ largest margin of victory this season.
Cutter Camp and Gage Hulse, who have both posted solid stat lines the last few games for the Patriots, both led their team in scoring with 15 points each. Hulse also led the Patriots in assists with 6. Da’Vione Stafford also had a double-digit scoring performance with 16 points and led the team in rebounds with 8. Also scoring in double figures was Cameron Smith with 11 points. Brady Bailey, Cutter Camp, and Maurice Walker each added 2 steals to lead the team.
The Patriots will be back on the court tomorrow to take on another Southwest Region opponent, Southwestern Adventist University. They will then take on Ecclesia College on Saturday at home. GO PATRIOTS!
