Men’s Soccer Begins Under Coach Sharp

Arlington, TX- Arlington Baptist University is proud to announce the addition of men’s soccer to an already prominent athletic program. The Patriots will participate in the ACCA and the NCCAA. They will be members of the Southwest Region within the NCCAA. They will compete at the same location as the baseball team at the multi-million dollar Quik Trip Park. More importantly, the team will be led by Coach Shelby Sharp.

Coach Sharp is coming to Arlington Baptist after five years in Texas public school education as both a teacher, high school soccer coach, and part-time club coach. He brings over 24 years playing experience having played four years at The University of Texas Permian Basin (NCAA DII) and two years semi-professionally with the Midland Sockers. Sharp is looking forward to this great opportunity and hopes to bring more success to the schools athletic program.
