The Patriot Men and the Lady Patriot basketball teams finished off their seasons in an incredible way. Both teams won the NCCAA Southwest Regional Championships, punching tickets for both teams to play in the NCCAA National Tournaments.

The Lady Patriots competed in the ACCA National Tournament and won their way into the National Championship game. They came up three points short of a National Championship, giving them the title of ACCA National Runner-up. A week later the Lady Patriots traveled to Circleville, OH to compete in the NCCAA National Tournament. Despite some stiff competition the Lady Patriots were able to place 6th in the National Tournament, closing out their season with a program history best record of  21 wins – 8 losses for the regular and postseason.

The Patriot Men also competed in the ACCA National Tournament and finished in 6th place overall. The men then traveled to Springfield, Missouri, where Central Bible College was the host for the NCCAA National Tournament. The Patriots played phenomenal basketball throughout the week, winning three straight games that put them into the National Championship game against the #1 seeded Ohio Christian University. The Patriot men battled hard but came up on the losing end, finishing as the NCCAA National Runner-up. This fantastic postseason run concluded the most successful men’s season in school history and gave them a total record for the regular and postseason of 19 wins – 17 losses.
