Lady Patriots Dominate Over NAU

The Arlington Baptist University women’s basketball team took on NAIA opponent, North American University, this evening at home.

The Lady Patriots got off to an unusually slow start, opening up the first 3 minutes of play down 2-10. They went into halftime with a 16-point lead, and then came out with dominance in the second half. The Lady Patriot defense caused several turnovers which they successfully converted into points on the offensive end. ABU defeated North American University by a final score of 103-58.

Five Lady Patriots scored in double figures and every single Lady Patriot on the roster contributed to the 103 points scored. Jakayla Bradford led in scoring with 19 points and tied Jayla Johnson with team-highs of 7 rebounds. Bradford also led the Lady Patriots in steals with 5.
