The Arlington Baptist Lady Patriots have started the New Year with great fervor, jumping off to a five game winning streak. The Lady Patriots have won three games on the road, one in Kansas and the other two in Keene, Texas with two home wins giving them a 10-5 record on the year.
In the past five games the Lady Patriots have averaged over 94 points per game while keeping their opponents to an average of 47 points a game. The team has totaled 112 steals this new year, stripping their opponents over 22 times per game! The team has been led in scoring by sophmores Morgan Hale and Jade Johnson, with Shanice Hill and Diamond Martinez contributing greatly towards defensive stops.
The Lady Patriots’ next game is this Friday where they will take on The Lady Eagles of Rhema Bible College here in Arlington Texas at the J. Frank Norris Auditorium for their Homecoming Game. On their last encounter the Lady Patriots managed a second-half come back against the Lady Eagles by shooting well over 67% from deep to take a 95-84 victory in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Action begins at 5:00 pm Friday, January 24th.
