Brad Bass was named Arlington Baptist University’s Head Baseball Coach in July of 2021.

Coach Bass comes to us after spending the last 26 years at Wayland Baptist University. Prior to WBU, he coached baseball at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. Bass holds a winning overall coaching record at every program he has been at the helm of, and last season ranked 9^th among active NAIA coaches in wins and 23^rd all-time. He has also coached 38 Scholar-Athletes, 15 All-Americans, and 3 Major League Baseball draft picks.

Prior to his coaching career, Bass played collegiate baseball at Ranger Junior College where he was a member of the 1978 Junior College World Series Championship team. He then continued his playing career at Hardin-Simmons University and served as an assistant coach at HSU upon his graduation.
